Terms of Use

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. FACE is a dating and friendship product for adults only. It is not a hookup app — soliciting casual sex or treating FACE as a hookup marketplace is prohibited.

2. The service

FACE provides verified discovery, mutual smiles, messaging, and related features in Dating and Friends modes. Features may evolve; we may add, change, or remove functionality with notice where required.

3. Accounts & verification

• You are responsible for your account credentials and activity
• Face verification is required for discovery visibility
• You agree to present yourself honestly in photos and profile text
• We may require re-verification if trust signals warrant it

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, scam, or exploit other users
• Impersonate others or use another person’s photos
• Upload illegal, abusive, or non-consensual content
• Solicit hookups, transactional sex, or treat FACE as a casual-sex marketplace
• Attempt to bypass verification, bans, or security controls
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service
• Use FACE for commercial spam without our written permission

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, and may apply hardware bans where abuse warrants.

5. Subscriptions & purchases

Optional paid features (such as FACE Plus or Boost) are billed through Apple, Google, or Stripe depending on platform. Fees, renewals, and cancellations follow the applicable store’s rules. Taxes may apply.

6. Safety disclaimer

Verification reduces impersonation risk but cannot eliminate all online risk. Meet offline carefully. FACE is not responsible for user conduct offline. Report concerns in-app or via Support.

7. Intellectual property

FACE branding, product design, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to content you upload, and grant FACE a license to host and display it to operate the service.

8. Disclaimers & liability

FACE is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties of uninterrupted availability. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the prior 12 months or fifty U.S. dollars, except where liability cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations, risk, or discontinuation of the service.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in your primary operating jurisdiction as designated by FACE, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts there have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protections require otherwise.
